How to enrol a child/young person in a Rainbows group?

Self-referral – Parent/Guardian rings the Rainbows registered centre (see Rainbows Centres tab on this website) to put your child’s name on the list for the next available programme for his/her age group and loss experience.

Schools generally notify parents/guardians when groups are being formed and parents/guardians are invited to submit an expression of interest form to enrol your child/young person.

A Rainbows Coordinator who manages the groups will contact you both parents/guardians (where possible) to give information on the Rainbows group support process. Parents /guardians are then asked to complete an enrolment form for their child/young person.

The Rainbows Coordinator will let contact with dates, times and other relevant information as the groups are ready to start.

Consent:

Please Note:
It is the policy of Rainbows Ireland to require the consent of both parents/guardians is needed for a child/young person to attend Rainbows support group.

Both parents will be invited to sign their consent on the same form or on a separate form.
